Starting out
Finding the right speaker
At the start of the project, I choose Tang Band W3-871SC, for its compact size and impressive acoustic performance. A key parameter to consider in the design was its VAS (Equivalent Compliance Volume), requiring 1.65 litres. This was crucial for determining the size of the enclosure, ensuring optimal sound quality and performance throughout the design process.
The ES-02 is a premium, meticulously crafted speaker that elevates traditional craftsmanship through carefully designed brass joinery. Its clean, open-frame construction creates a visually light, almost floating presence, seamlessly blending into modern interiors. The precision of its details and the warmth of its materials position the ES-02 not just as a device, but as a statement piece — where sound meets artful design.
